Multiple Teams · Cross Country Update


Northridge Cross Country teams competed in the McGowan Invitational at Watkins High School Saturday, Sept. 10.

The Viking high school girl’s team placed 8th out of 17 Division 3 varsity teams. Sophomore Megan King, running for the first time this year, won a medal. High School girls competed against 174 runners total in that race. Our team’s times and finishing place are:

The Viking high school boys competed in the Division II varsity race, where they finished last out of 26 teams. They ran against a total of 308 runners. Bold times below indicate season bests:

The team will host Johnstown’s teams in an informal and fun “rivalry” meet this Wednesday beginning at 5:00. They will compete again Saturday the 17th at the Newark Invitational.
