The Northridge High School Volleyball teams are hosting a PINK night when they face Newark Catholic at home on Tuesday, October 13. The Freshmen game will begin at 4:30PM with the Junior Varsity and Varsity following.

The Lady Vikings have already participated in a Serve-a-Thon and sold t-shirts to wear to the game. A serving opportunity will be offered for a donation. There are several items that will be up for silent auction, including a Birthday Party at Buckeye Gymnastics, two certificates for two to play 18 holes with a cart at Kyber Run Golf Course, vehicle service certificates from Coughlin Automotive in Johnstown as well as Countryside Auto, a gift basket from the Hot Spot in Johnstown and the Village Spa in Alexandria, and so many more. There will be a 50/50 drawing as well as two basket raffles. A bake sale will take place during the matches.

There will be a limited number of t-shirts available for sale at the event. Survivors will be recognized as well as those that have lost a loved one to this dreaded disease. The proceeds from the this event will go directly to the Stefanie Spielman Fund. For the entire month of October, Chris Spielman will match all donations to the Stefanie Spielman Fund dollar for dollar!! That makes your $10 donation a $20 donation.

Wear your Green is the new Pink shirt to the game and students get in free and adults get in at the student price!! Come out and support your Lady Vikings as the go PINK to support breast cancer research!
